This model has gained the fame of a watch in high demand even since it was first released at SIHH, in 2011. And this popularity is most likely due to this marvelous blend of a minimalist design and the P.3000 in-house movement. This is a hand-wound mechanical movement that works with 21 jewels and  due to the two mainspring barrels that are connected in series, it offers 72 hours power reserve. When you pull the crown into first position, it will let you advance only the hours. The second crown position allows you to adjust both the hour and minute hands. For those who are constantly traveling, this is a practical feature in order to keep track of two time zones. A sapphire case back reveals he mechanism.

The 47mm brushed with polished steel case in itself is by now iconic and communicates in a simple way the passion of the manufacturer for finding the perfect form, but also for being consistent and preserving its rich history. The bezel and the device protecting the crown are also in brushed steel, surrounding the black dial, an elegant background for the ecru filled engraved  Arabic numerals and  hour markers. The hour and minute hands are done in gold and all the elements of the dial are luminescent in order to assure legibility by night. With slimmer lugs than other Luminor models and a cushion-shape sort of profile, this model is similar to the Radiomir ones. The Calf Assolutamente strap with beige stitches and a tang buckle embrace the wrist and also compliments the case making it even more appealing. You can change the strap with a reddish brown leather one. You even get a screwdriver to change the straps yourself.

The strap attachments are made from the same block of steel as the case, making increasing its water resistance  up to 100 meters.
