The Pam00048 was constructed to endure water pressure associated with diving to depths of 300 meters.

The watch is equipped with an exclusive Panerai OP III calibre. This mechanical automatic movement has been tested and certified by C.O.S.C. and is fitted with 21 jewels, 13¼ lignes, a Panerai personalized oscillating weight, an Incabloc® anti-shock device and a Glucydur® balance, 28,800 alternations/hour. Furthermore the mechanism is decorated on the bridges with the Côtes de Genève motif and it provides a 42 hours reserve.
