For the last three decades Formula 1 has been Tag Heuer’s casual sports watch, an entry level timepiece equipped with an exceptional quartz movement. But recently the brand decided to improve things a bit by launching the first men’s automatic movement Formula 1 model equipped with the in-house Calibre 16 mechanism. The Tag Heuer Formula 1 Calibre 16’s case measures 44 mm in diameter and is wonderfully fitted with a sapphire crystal. This 25 rubies mechanism has a 42 hours power reserve and enhances the following features: the date window at 3 o’clock, the 12 hours counter at 6 o’clock, 60 seconds at 9 o’clock and 30 minutes at 12 o’clock.
